Licensed as an occupational therapist, Irmie’s psychotherapy experience with couples, individuals and families spans over 30 years. She has advanced post graduate training in psychiatry, community mental health, attachment, crisis work and trauma.
Drawing from her occupational training, Irmie specializes in assessing and providing therapy to couples, individuals and families struggling with a variety of mental health issues including trauma, attachment, ADHD, ASD, depression, anxiety, bi-polar and borderline personality issues to name a few. While Irmie enjoys working with clients from all walks of life, her passion is with couples struggling to connect when one or both are struggling with a mental health issue.
Combining her empathetic and person centered approach, Irmie works from a holistic perspective supporting the body, mind and soul into a healthy alignment.
